Retraction Statement

At the request of the Journal Editor, the following three articles published in Journal of Clinical Medicine Research have been retracted. After the three articles were published, concerns were raised about potential redundancy concerning previous publications from the same authorship. To adhere to publishing ethics, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office, and the results are as follows:

1. Non-Ergot Dopamine Agonists Do Not Increase the Risk of Heart Failure in Parkinsons Disease Patients: A Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials. J Clin Med Res. 2016;8(6):449-460. [1].

Duplicate with: Non-Ergot Dopamine Agonists Don’t Increase the Risk of Heart Failure in Parkinson’s disease Patients. A Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials. J Pharmacovigilance 2016, 4:1. [2].

The two articles are almost the same, including all the tables and figures.

2. Malignant Ventricular Arrhythmias Resulting From Drug-Induced QTc Prolongation: A Retrospective Study. J Clin Med Res. 2018;10(7):593-600. [3].

Duplicate with: Acquired drug-induced long QTc: new insights coming from a retrospective study. Eur J Clin Pharmacol 74, 1645–1651 (2018). [4]

There’s significantly overlap between the above two articles, the number of participants is the same and details suggest it is the same cohort. In addition, the results and a number of the figures and tables are the same.

3. Clinical Relevance of Anticoagulation and Dual Antiplatelet Therapy to the Outcomes of Patients With Atrial Fibrillation and Recent Percutaneous Coronary Intervention With Stent. J Clin Med Res. 2016;8(2):153-161. [5].

Duplicate with: Comparative Analysis of the Effects of Three Antithrombotic Regimens on Clinical Outcomes of Patients with Atrial Fibrillation and Recent Percutaneous Coronary Intervention with Stent. A Retrospective Cohort Study. International Journal of Statistics in Medical Research, 4(3), 260–269. [6].

There’s significantly overlap between the above two articles in the Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion sections. The Tables and Figures are also the same.

Based on the investigations listed above, the Editorial Office retracts these three redundant publications.
