Journal of Clinical Medicine Research
The Journal of Clinical Medicine Research is seeking a qualified and experienced academic to serve as its next Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in-Chief will provide academic leadership and strategic direction for the journal, uphold high standards of scientific quality and publishing ethics, and work closely with the editorial board and publishing team to support the journal’s continued development.
Term of Appointment
The appointment is for a two-year term and may be renewed by mutual agreement, subject to satisfactory performance and the journal’s ongoing needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall academic and editorial leadership;
Ensure the quality, relevance, and integrity of published content;
Oversee manuscript evaluation and editorial decision-making;
Promote rigorous, fair, and timely peer review;
Ensure compliance with recognized research and publishing ethics;
Recruit, develop, and engage qualified editorial board members;
Advise on the journal’s scope, policies, special issues, and strategic priorities;
Encourage high-quality manuscript submissions;
Promote the journal within the international clinical and research communities; and
Collaborate with the publisher to strengthen the journal’s academic reputation, visibility, and impact.
Candidate Qualifications
Applicants should:
Hold an MD, PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field;
Have an established record of clinical research and scholarly publication;
Possess substantial editorial and peer-review experience, preferably with an international medical journal;
Demonstrate sound academic judgment, professional integrity, and a strong commitment to publishing ethics;
Have recognized expertise and professional standing in clinical medicine or a related discipline;
Be able to work effectively with authors, reviewers, editors, and the publishing team; and
Have sufficient time and commitment to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
